| On our way to Sligo town, we stopped at Carrowmore - the site of an ancient series of megalithic passage tombs and stone circles. |

| Furey's pub - previously owned by members of Dervish. But we made friends with the new publican, Paul. We also met the infamous "John the Map". |

| After dinner, we walked the beach. It was low tide and we watched the sun set at nearly 10:00pm, but it stayed light much later. |
