Northern Coast: Derry to Cushendall

Another beach!

Panoramic view of the beach.

Next, we headed up to Downhill - the 16th century estate ('Demesne') from the Bishop of Derry.

A wild orchid
The temple the lord built for one of his mistresses.

Panoramic view from the ledge!

The view from the temple.

Ruins from the estate - was finally abandoned in the 1940s.

Dunluce Castle - in the 17th century, the kitchen fell into the ocean.

Union Jack flying in Northern Ireland in one of the many villages we drove through.

Dad poses on the Giant's Causeway.

More Giant's Causeway.

Lots of great views from the road!

Our dinner spot in Cushendall - Upstairs at Joes - very delicious!
